Hey Berries, it’s been 2 months since we released the roadmap, it’s now time to keep you informed of our progress.
First of all, we would like to welcome all the new club members. The number of unique holders is growing (we are now over 3160 Berries)
Our progress on social networks is also in clear progression. The number of followers on twitter is increasing. We will also try to develop the GBC on Instagram to reach more people and extend the visibility of the Blueberry Club.
If you missed it, we released the first episode of GBC Lifestyle. A video series that aims to gather the best photos and videos of our members.
We will also start to share the best photos of our members each week for the instagram feed (we will share them on twitter too).
All of this would not be possible without our fantastic community, your commitment is our greatest strength and we hope to continue in this way, grow our family and make the Blueberry Club more and more attractive over time.
Treasury
- The GBC Treasury is steadily increasing due to our investments in GMX assets with a total value of over $1,100,000.
- GMX and GLP have proven that they will remain viable in any market condition, allowing the GBC treasury to have a secure and steady revenue stream to give back to the community.
- We also made 2 investments in GMX and GLP to maintain the 80/20 ratio voted by the club members. However this ratio will be difficult to maintain with the increase of GMX. We will see later if we will vote to convert GMX to GLP to keep this ratio.
- We’ll continue to compound the yield until the release of the redistribution feature.
- Each of our actions (Investment, compound) regarding the Treasury will now be written in the #governance channel of our discord.
Blueberry Lab
A lot of progress has been made on the features we aim to develop. We started with the Blueberry Lab.
A quick reminder of what the Blueberry Lab is :
The Blueberry Lab is a tool that will allow GBC owners to customize their Berries with new attributes which must be owned on-chain. These new items will be part of the “Blueberry Lab” Collection on marketplaces.
We have focused all of our energy on building this feature because it will allow us to increase community engagement, reward members, and establish many partnerships in many areas. The Blueberry Lab will be our most powerful marketing tool.
Testnet
The Blueberry Lab is live on Arbiturm’s Rinkeby testnet. This test phase is necessary to get feedback from the community to validate that the Blueberry Lab corresponds to your expectations. We created a new channel in GBC Exclusive Discord (#Lab-Testnet). The GBC team built the Lab but it’s up to the whole community to give their opinion to have the best possible version as we are all in this together.
To participate in the testnet, you will need to set up the Arbitrum Testnet network and receive ETH to test the features.

In the coming days, we will release 5 to 7 test items with different mint configurations to show all the possibilities and offer a real experience to our users.
Once the Blueberry Lab is out on mainnet, the marketing possibilities will be endless. We already have many ideas for items that can be unlocked through events and others that will be the result of different partnerships.

GBC Trading Rewards
In our roadmap, we featured Reward Distribution contract that generates yield from GBC’s Treasury. We’ve worked to expand and improve on this idea:
GBC holders will be able to open free leverage positions on GBC website
- Each staked GBC receives ETH rewards periodically from a Reward Distributor
- Assign a GBC as Profile using our Lab to establish your identity
- Open a free GMX leverage trades directly from GBC website
- GBC as profile picture required (for the leaderboard)
- You will also be able to add collateral to your position if you wish
- Every individual Trade will appear on the Leaderboard and Top Traders will be announced/featured throughout our social networks and events
- Each quarter we will host a Trading Tournament for top trades to win special Lab Items
We think this idea is far more intriguing and fun as it composes well with GMX and the Lab. Given we have such a powerful trading protocol, it made sense to give our members the ability to share their trading experience and share their stories that may have impacted their life
We’re hoping to release the Reward Distributor together with the Lab so you can already start earning rewards before we fully build the Trading Contract, this may take several weeks to build.
GBC Team Discussions on Discord
We have been working on partnerships and feature development in a closed group, we think it would make sense to go fully public to GBC holders.
This will give us an opportunity to get close feedback and engagement from our community.
This means that we will be moving full communication from our closed group on telegram into our GBC Discord Channels #Governance for all treasury related chat and #Development for all feature development and technical discussions.

We have conducted about 20 different technical interviews in which one of them has stood out to have exceptional talent. Irving has already taken part in the development of our Lab and Reward Distributor doing Solidity and Product Development.
